Situation

Meet Karen C. Seddon.  She is the Florida State Director and National Prayer Advocate for Christian Educators Association International, Inc. or  CEAI.  She is also the voice of the Around the Word in 180 Days blog/podcast and author of two devotionals for educators.

Ever wonder if it is legal to pray for our schools? Well, Karen and ETP worked together to create this 20-minute session to show that prayer is constitutionally protected and set the challenge of daily prayer called “6 Ways to Pray for Your School.”

Tasks & Actions

We set up three cameras – two Sony® A7RIIIs and a Sony® FX9 – for mid-range, close, and profile shots.  We used the GlideGear® Pro Series TMP 750 teleprompter for the script, Neewer LED Panels for basic three-point lighting and the PicoStream® wireless mic system for sound.   The recording session went extremely well, and Karen hit all her speaking parts with ease.  We edited the footage using Adobe PremierePro®, created motion graphics in After Effects, and added licensed music from AudioBlocks®.

Results

Karen and CEAI used the video in the “Turn Your Campus” online training conference, which occurred on Saturday, January 30, 2021, a one-day, transformational training event for students and youth workers to inspire and equip them to impact their community for Christ.  Find out more at https://turnyourcampus.com/.
