Situation

Meet Roda Ward Carter and the Carter Health Disposables team. She and the CHD team won the 2020 Robert J. Brown Minority Business Enterprise of the Year Award given by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). Roda hired Leslie Gray Photography (a brand of Executive Thought Partners, LLC) to provide headshots, team and product shots, and a highlight video.

Tasks & Actions

We set up a Production Day for Roda, wherein the morning, we completed headshots. During the afternoon, we conducted a video interview and captured B-roll. We visited Tony McGee, CEO of HNM Logistics, and a strategic partner of Carter Health Disposables for additional comments and B-roll. We utilized Sony cameras, assorted flags, and light modifiers to capture her, Tony, and the team in the best light. We edited the project in Adobe Lightroom, PremierePro and created complementary motion graphics in After Effects.

Results

Roda shared the pictures and videos on LinkedIn and other social media sites. She also provided the MBDA with digital content for their online award show. She received hundreds of likes and congrats as well. We had lots of fun with this project and think the results are fantastic!
